Swim Lessons The McKendree Metro Rec Plex offers swim lessons all year round Plex Swim is designed to prepare children for competitive swimming team. Programs and services include: Intramural & Club Sports, Fitness & Wellness Programming, Scuba and Rescue Certifications, and Outdoor Adventures. 5:00pm - 5:30pm Tumble Cubs Gymnastics walking to age 3 years - Gymnastics.
MRMA conducts an intensive program at our sites with follow-up surprise audits to check on staff performances throughout the season. The Office of Recreation and Wellness (NSU RecWell) strives to enhance transformative learning and quality of life for the NSU community through diverse programs and services in an inclusive environment. In addition to our general Red Cross Lifeguard Certification requirement, members of our RecPlex Pool Staff receive even more rigorous water training and testing conducted by Metro Risk Management Agency. Upon arrival, swimmers must check-in at the front desk.
